The individual couple program is an 85 minute DVD presenting principles, advice, and stories to help engaged couples and their parents with couple and family relationships in wedding planning.  The DVD is a presentation by Bill Doherty, a nationally recognized marriage therapist, award winning teacher, and co-founder of The First Dance.   The DVD presentation is wise and practical, sometimes moving and sometimes humorous.  No bells and whistles or fancy studio props—just a presentation by a therapist and educator who brings the combined wisdom of his thirty years of professional experience and his daughter Elizabeth’s grounding in today’s generation of couples planning of their weddings.

There is group version of the DVD  intended for use in religious settings and other places that offer premarital education.  If you like what you see in The First Dance, we encourage you to let your local premarital education programs leaders know about it.  Or, check here to see who is offering the program.
